3D!

I’ve experimented with different methods of 3D imaging here – some working better than others.

In the highly unlikely situation where you don’t happen to have a pair of 3D glasses lying around, I recommend imagining what the pictures are like – kind of slightly looking like they are sort of coming off the screen a bit.

The Flow

Here, I’ve tried to create a flowing photo composition mixing my own photos with royalty free stock images. Conveniently, a website like this is the perfect place to exhibit such an image (and if you click it, you can see the whole lot in one go).

BBC Switch

During my month’s contract as a graphic designer for BBC Switch, I helped create, and created many things. Here are some of the posters that I made for the reception area and to go in the Radio 1 building.

Here is some of the set design I did for The 5:19 Show.

The idea is for guests of the show to be able to interact with it by signing it in funny ways. I needed to consider how the design would transfer from screen to the wall, and painted it using a projector to act as a guide.

Leeds Met Enterprise Photo Competition Winner

Leeds Metropolitan Institute For Enterprise set a competition to photograph their footprint sticker ’somewhere enterprising.’ The broadness of this task inspired me to be as creative as possible and I ended up submitting a load of photos… (as always, click to enlgarge thumbnail)

Vote Landy

I created much publicity material for my housemate, Josh Landy when he ran for Activities Officer at Leeds University Union. Material I created included flyers, posters, his manifesto, and a 6 foot Dandy Poster.

As voting was also available online, a lot of effort was put into creating a fun video for people to watch, encouraging them to vote. It went viral around campus, and definitely helped to secure him with his position:

Oh What a Video!

I created this campaign video for a candidate who was running for a position on the executive committee of Manchester Students’ Union as he contacted me after seeing my Vote Landy video. For the Vote Landy video, I was only responsible for the video, whereas for this one, I produced everything!

Ealing Labour

Brief: To re-brand Ealing Labour’s printed publications with a ‘green’ theme (keeping elements of their recognisable red, without looking like Xmas)… Done.

Elsie

Here is an 11 second video I filmed, edited and post produced. ‘Elsie’ is the name of the Little Character who I animated in 3Ds Max.
